Introduction

Streamline Innovations, Inc. (“Streamline,” “we”, “our” or “us”) innovates and commercializes technologies to enable businesses to meet environmental and sustainability directives in Energy, Wastewater, Renewable Fuels, and Industrial processes.

This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) describes how Streamline collects, uses, and discloses Personal Information. It also describes your Personal Information rights and choices, and how you may exercise those rights. The term Personal Information is defined in the Notice. Scope

This Notice applies to Personal Information that we collect through or in connection with:

Our website streamlineinnovations.com (the “Site”) and online services;
Attendance at our events;
Subscribing to our newsletter;
Placing an order;
Visiting Streamline offices/locations;
Marketing and business development activities; and
Other communications for the purpose of routine business activities including but not limited to email, phone, text message, and instant message.

For the purpose of this Notice, “Personal Information” means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated or linked, directly or indirectly, with an individual consumer or household. Personal Information does not include information that is publicly available, de-identified, or aggregated.

This Notice does not apply to:

Third-party websites, platforms, or services that we do not own or control, even if they are linked from our website;
Streamline employees or job applicants. Employees and job applicants should refer to the Company’s employee handbook, Employee Privacy and Information Agreement, and Workable’s privacy notice; or
Business information. Privacy of business information is covered by bilateral Non-Disclosure Agreements, Service Agreements, and other agreements of a form appropriate to the business purpose.

This Notice may be updated from time to time, and we encourage you to review it periodically for updates. Your continued engagement with our services indicates your acceptance and consent to the information collection practices described in this Notice.

Personal Information We Collect

Information You Provide to Us

As you interact with Streamline, we and our vendors may collect Personal Information, such as:

Identifiers and contact information, including name, email address, home, business, and/or shipping address, and/or phone number;
Professional information, including employer, role, business contact details;
Information about your company’s interest in our products or services, including form submissions, project information, and the contents of emails and phone calls;
Information to register you for an event, including contact information, food selections, dietary restrictions, and clothing sizes for all event attendees;
Communications regarding ongoing business relationships, including the content of emails, documents, phone calls, virtual and in-person meetings, and instant message conversations;
Information necessary to make or receive payments, including account information, wiring or ACH instructions, and credit card information; and
Other information that could reasonably be used to identify you personally.

Information Collected by Website Technologies

We and our partners collect and/or store certain information when you visit or interact with the Site or interact with our electronic communications through the use of cookies, pixels, and other similar technologies. These technologies store information from your computer, laptop, tablet, mobile phone, or other device (a “Device”) when you interact with this Site or electronic communications. We disclose Personal Information to our providers who perform services that support our business such as website and/or form hosting, payment processing, data analysis, information technology, customer service, email delivery and engagement, online advertising, auditing, event planning and registration, and other services.

Analytics & Third Party Advertising

If you consent to our Site’s use of cookies, the Personal Information collected by those cookies and similar technologies about your use of our Site, and your interaction with our ads on other websites, will be disclosed to our analytics and advertising partners to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you.

Automation and Artificial Intelligence

We may use internal or third-party automation, analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence tools to:

Generate or receive inferences about likely product or service interests, engagement level, lead score, or similar information based on interactions with the Site, emails, forms, or other communications;
Transcribe, organize, or summarize routine business communications; and
Protect our website, systems, users, and business; detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, bots, unauthorized access, malicious activity, and security incidents; maintain logs; and support security monitoring and incident response.

We do not use automation or AI to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects without appropriate human involvement. We also do not intend to use these tools to infer sensitive personal characteristics.

We do not knowingly provide Personal Information collected through our website or routine business communications to public AI tools for unrestricted training of general-purpose AI models.

Communication Preferences

With your consent, Streamline communicates with you via a variety of print and digital media. To help us make emails more useful and interesting, we use pixels that enable us to see if you open emails from us, if your computer supports such capabilities. You can opt out of receiving emails from us at any time. Cookies

Non-essential cookies are disabled on our Site by default. Please note that if you choose not to enable certain non-essential cookies on the Site, some of its functionalities may not work correctly. Your California Privacy Rights

Right to Know and to Access Personal Information in a Portable Format

You have the right to know, and to request that we disclose to you (i.e., access) in a portable format where technically feasible, the categories and/or specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you, the categories of Personal Information we have disclosed for a business purpose and the categories of recipients, as well as the categories of third parties to whom we have sold or shared Personal Information and the categories of Personal Information sold or shared.

Right to Request Deletion of Personal Information

You have the right to request that we delete Personal Information about you that we have collected from you. As permitted by CCPA, if you request deletion of Personal Information that we have collected from you, we, our service providers, and our contractors may be unable to comply with such a request if the Personal Information meets certain exclusions.

Right to Correct Inaccurate Personal Information

You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate information that we maintain about you.

Right to Opt-Out

You have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your Personal Information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. To opt-out of any previous “sale” or “sharing” of Personal Information for targeted advertising, please submit a request to the contact information below.

Additionally, our Site honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. You can learn more about GPC here. Please note that GPC is not available on all browsers, only applies to the browsers and devices on which you enable it, and that you should enable it across browsers and devices you use.

Right to Limit the Use or Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information

We do not collect or use Sensitive Personal Information for reasons other than those listed in Section 7027(m) of the CCPA’s implementing regulations, nor do we collect or use Sensitive Personal Information to infer characteristics about individuals.

Right to Non-Discrimination

We may not discriminate against you because you have exercised any of these rights, including by denying goods or services, charging different rates, altering the quality of goods or services, or suggesting that you will receive different rates or quality.

How to Exercise Your California Privacy Rights

You or your authorized agent may make a request to know and/or access, correct, opt-out, or delete Personal Information. You may also make a request on behalf of your minor child if you believe we have received Personal Information about a minor inadvertently. You may request to exercise these rights by submitting a request to the contact information below. To protect you and your Personal Information and depending on the type of request you make, we may contact you to verify your identity before processing a request, where applicable.

We may limit our response to your exercise of the above rights as permitted by law. We will confirm receipt of the request and, if applicable, verify your identity within 10 business days of receipt of the request. For requests to opt-out, we will respond to your request within 15 business days of receipt, or let you know if we need additional time. We will respond to requests to know/access, correct or delete Personal Information within 45 days of receipt, or let you know if we need additional time.

Retention of Personal Information

Streamline will retain Personal Information for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice. We will retain and use Personal Information to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain Personal Information to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

All information you provide to us is stored on our servers or those of our data storage providers.

In some circumstances we may choose to aggregate, de-identify, or otherwise alter data so that it can no longer be associated with an individual, either as an alternate to deletion or for using data for specific purposes, for example for research or statistical purposes, at which point it is no longer Personal Information. In these cases, we may use this information indefinitely without further notice.

The criteria we use to determine retention periods may include:

The nature and sensitivity of the information;
The purposes for which the information was collected or processed;
The length of our relationship with you or your company;
Whether the information is needed for ongoing business, customer, vendor, or legal purposes;
Applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, audit, insurance, or contractual requirements;
Security, fraud prevention, and incident response needs;
The existence of disputes, claims, investigations, or legal holds; and
Technical constraints, including backup, archival, and disaster recovery systems.

When Personal Information is no longer needed, we will delete, de-identify, aggregate, or retain it as permitted by applicable law and our record retention practices.

Direct Marketing Disclosures

California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents to request information regarding our disclosure of certain Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. California residents may request that we disclose this information by contacting us using the information in the Contact Us section below. Please include “California Privacy Rights Request” in the subject line of your email, and include your name, street address, city, state, and ZIP code. Note that we are only required to respond to one request per customer each year, and we may respond in standardized format that is not specific to you.

California Online Privacy Protection Act Disclosure

Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) option, which allows you to signal to operators of websites and web applications that you do not wish such operators to track some of your online activities over time and across different websites and platforms. There is no universally agreed-upon standard for what an organization should do when it detects a DNT signal. Currently, we do not monitor or take any action with respect to these signals or other mechanisms. Our Site does honor GPC signals.

Children’s Privacy

Our Site and electronic communications are not directed at children under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect or receive Personal Information from them or sell or share such information. If you believe that we have received Personal Information from a child under the age of 18, you may contact us using the information in the Contact Us section below to request deletion of that information.

We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the Personal Information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Changes to This Privacy Notice

We may change this Privacy Notice at any time. We will post all changes to this Privacy Notice on this page and will indicate at the top of the page the modified notice’s effective date. We encourage you to refer to this page on an ongoing basis so that you are aware of our current Privacy Notice. If required by the applicable law, we will notify you of the changes.
